great views , but some maintenance needed
The rooftop infinity pool offered fine, panoramic sights that were enjoyable. The staff showed really good friendliness, promptly addressing our requests with a smile. I appreciated the large balcony in my room, perfect for taking in the scenic lake views while sipping tea.
The room had some maintenance issues that detracted from the overall experience.

Had marvellous and excellant location on the hill above Kandy. Plus, it was so close to the lake and forest, the centre and forest.

This location was convenient and handy, next to Kandy's lake, restaurants and temple, Sri Lanka and good restaurants in town. It also was down to the bustling city centre. I spent 3 nights here and loved that.

The lack of a liquor license. The room had several maintenance issues, such as a broken bedside lamp shade and missing grouting .

What shines and what doesn't
The fine infinity pool offered amazing views over the lake and temples. The spacious balcony from the room was perfect for soaking in sunsets.
The bellboy's abrupt attitude was off-putting, and we experienced issues with the shower pressure .

What an very nice stay! The Sri Lankan dinner was a culinary delight with amazing curry flavors. The rooftop pool provided amazing views, but I really wished for more lounge chairs to relax on.

Amazing views and good dining experiences

The Trees provided an really good stay with its brand new facilities and fine views overlooking the lake and city center. The spacious room featured a generous balcony, and the attentive staff ensured that all our needs were met. The rooftop pool offered an very nice infinity view, and I particularly enjoyed the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast, well-prepared and delicious.

I had a great time with free parking for my invisible chauffeur, a terrace perfect for bird watching, a bar that served the fanciest mocktails in town.
